WWE Raw closed out the final episode of 2025 with a loaded show featuring championship matches, major storyline developments, and the continued rise of several key players heading into the new year.
The night opened with Paul Heyman addressing the WWE Universe alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul. Heyman declared that the group represented the future of the company and introduced Theory as the newest member of what he dubbed “The Vision.” The segment was interrupted by CM Punk, who confronted Breakker directly and questioned whether he was truly ready to lead WWE. Tensions escalated before Breakker sent the rest of The Vision to the back, standing toe-to-toe with Punk as the two exchanged heated words ahead of their upcoming championship clash.
The first match of the night saw Stephanie Vaquer defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella in a chaotic triple threat. The bout featured constant momentum shifts, with each competitor coming close to victory. Rodriguez used her power advantage to control long stretches, while Bella relied on speed and opportunism. In the end, Vaquer capitalised on an opening to score the pinfall on Bella and retain her title. The post-match chaos escalated when Asuka and Kairi Sane confronted the champion, only for Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky to storm the ring, setting the stage for future confrontations.
Gunther was up next and made short work of R-Truth, overpowering him with ease before forcing a submission victory. The dominant win further solidified Gunther’s position as one of Raw’s most dangerous competitors.
Later in the night, Rey Mysterio faced Austin Theory, with Logan Paul watching closely from ringside. The match was fast-paced, but interference proved decisive. As Rey attempted to set up the 619, Paul tripped him, allowing Theory to take advantage and secure a disqualification win. Afterwards, Theory and Paul attacked Mysterio until Penta rushed the ring to make the save.
Another heated exchange followed between Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch, continuing their ongoing rivalry. Dupri reminded Lynch that she had already forced her to submit, while Lynch dismissed her rival’s rise as temporary. The confrontation ended with security stepping in to prevent things from turning physical.
The main event saw AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defend the WWE World Tag Team Championships against The Usos. The match was fast-paced and filled with near falls, as both teams showcased their chemistry and experience. Styles and Lee appeared on the verge of retaining after a series of tandem attacks, but The Usos fought back with perfectly timed teamwork. A decisive double-team sequence allowed Jey Uso to score the pinfall, crowning The Usos as new World Tag Team Champions.
Raw went off the air with The Usos celebrating in the ring, holding the titles high as the final image of 2025.
