This week’s WWE Raw continued the fallout from Survivor Series, with tournament semi-finals, championship action, and rising tensions across the women’s division.
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky opened the show, declaring their intent to challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship after Asuka and Kairi Sane betrayed Sky at WarGames. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss interrupted to remind them of their own rematch clause, setting up a tag-team main event between the two sides.
LA Knight advanced to the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament with a win over Jey Uso. Knight secured the pin with a crucifix counter, while a furious Uso snapped afterwards, throwing equipment and storming away without explanation.
In another semi-final later in the night, Gunther defeated Solo Sikoa after surviving interference from Talla Tonga. Gunther’s win sets up a tournament final between himself and Knight on SmackDown.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee successfully defended the World Tag Team Championship against The New Day, combining precision double-team offence with a Styles Clash to retain the titles. Meanwhile, backstage tension rose as Bayley and Lyra Valkyria staked their claim to the tag division, only to be confronted and mocked by Asuka and Sane.
Judgment Day regrouped on Raw with the surprise return of Liv Morgan, who declared the faction stronger than ever. Later, Rey Mysterio slapped Logan Paul during an interview confrontation, escalating their issues over the Intercontinental Championship.
Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker also delivered a major announcement: CM Punk will defend the WWE Men’s World Heavyweight Championship against Breakker on the 5 January 2026 edition of Raw, marking the programme’s first anniversary on Netflix.
The main event between Ripley & Sky and Flair & Bliss ended in a no-contest when the Kabuki Warriors interfered, sparking a multi-team brawl. Judgment Day’s women ultimately stood tall, with Liv Morgan rejecting the chance to hold a tag title belt in favour of unity.
