Cord Cutters has reported that YouTube TV subscribers can now link their accounts with ESPN Unlimited, giving them free access to the premium streaming service, including WWE’s monthly premium live events. The long-awaited integration arrives just days before SummerSlam and follows similar agreements with other major TV providers. TKO president Mark Shapiro had previously highlighted the importance of the deal, believing it would significantly expand the audience for WWE premium live events. Third-party estimates put YouTube TV’s subscriber base at around 10 million, with the service expected to become the largest pay TV provider in the United States by 2027.

WWE has filed a trademark for the ring name Cruz Montana, which has since been confirmed as the new WWE name for recent NXT signing Mike Santana. The July 24 filing covers wrestling performances and entertainment services across live events, broadcast media and online platforms. WWE has a long history of trademarking new ring names ahead of talent debuts and rebrands, with Santana now set to compete under the Cruz Montana name.
A film based on the unlikely friendship between English wrestler Man Like DeReiss and four Welsh grandmothers during WrestleMania week is being explored by producer Nick Barton. The story began when the women met DeReiss on a flight to Las Vegas before accepting his invitation to watch one of his matches. Barton, whose previous work includes Calendar Girls and The Full Monty, believes the heartwarming story has the potential to become a successful film and is working on the next steps towards production. Both DeReiss and the grandmothers have expressed excitement about the possibility, although the project remains in its early stages.
