A WWE personality has achieved a major milestone outside the ring.
Megan Morant announced on social media that she has qualified for the Olympic Trials, marking a significant accomplishment in her running career. A former Division I athlete, Morant has continued to compete in endurance events, including marathons, alongside her work in WWE.
Reflecting on the journey, Morant said the idea first came to her while watching the 2020 Olympic Trials Marathon.
“I remember watching… and this crazy idea crossed my mind: what if you just tried?” she wrote.
Morant admitted she had doubts about returning to a high level after her collegiate career did not go as planned, but said the event changed her perspective.
“For the first time it really clicked… you don’t have to be just one thing,” she wrote. “You can be a career woman… and a high-level athlete at the same time.”
She credited years of dedication and support for helping her reach the goal.
“Over six years later, my dream is now a reality… I just qualified for the Olympic Trials.”
