A WWE NXT star has been pulled from action following an on-screen announcement that revealed a suspension and a concerning neck injury.
Jaida Parker’s recent return to NXT television has quickly taken an unexpected turn, with a new on-screen announcement revealing she will be out of action. The situation stems from events both inside and outside the ring, and Tuesday night’s episode provided new details about what led to her absence.
During the February 17 edition of WWE NXT, Blake Monroe interrupted a conversation between Robert Stone and Fallon Henley to complain about Parker’s actions the previous week. In response, the newly appointed NXT General Manager announced that Parker had been suspended for attacking a referee and added that she was also dealing with a neck injury that would keep her sidelined.
At one point, Stone suggested that Monroe’s role in the incident may not have been entirely accidental, though he quickly shifted the discussion toward the upcoming women’s Speed title tournament. Monroe was ultimately added to the tournament, with her opening-round match against Thea Hail scheduled for next week.
What Happened Between Jaida Parker And Blake Monroe On WWE NXT?
The suspension followed Jaida Parker’s match with Blake Monroe the week prior on WWE NXT, which ended in a double count-out after both competitors continued fighting on the outside. During the bout, Monroe lifted Parker for a suplex but landed awkwardly, with Parker coming down head-first. Despite the concerning landing, she continued the match until the scheduled finish.
Parker had only recently returned to television after being absent for much of the autumn and winter of 2025. She came back last month to confront Monroe, and the two had been trading verbal jabs and physical altercations in the weeks leading up to their match, including a brawl outside the Performance Center.
