The results for last night’s episode of WWE NXT are in.
WWE NXT delivered an eventful episode on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, as Tony D’Angelo earned an NXT Championship opportunity, two teams advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and a major championship match was confirmed for Halloween Havoc.
The show also featured La Catalina defending the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, a surprise attack involving Tavion Heights and a mysterious closing segment teasing the host of Halloween Havoc.
Tony D’Angelo defeated Myles Borne in the main event to become the number one contender for the WWE NXT Championship.
The competitive encounter saw both wrestlers exchange several near falls before a cameraman climbed onto the ring apron and distracted Borne. D’Angelo capitalised with a chokeslam to secure the victory.
Following the match, the cameraman revealed himself as Tavion Heights, who attacked Borne and powerbombed him through the announce desk.
Elsewhere, Wren Sinclair addressed her controversial victory in last week’s women’s number one contender’s battle royal, admitting that she had disguised herself as AAA star Lady Shani to enter the match.
WWE NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan interrupted and refused to defend against Sinclair, arguing that her suspension should invalidate the victory.
However, General Manager Robert Stone announced that Sinclair’s suspension had been lifted and officially confirmed Jordan vs. Sinclair for the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc on October 31.
Two teams advanced in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic during Tuesday’s broadcast.
Vanity Project’s Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor defeated Starboy and Mini Vikingo in the opening match. Despite several impressive aerial attacks from their opponents, Smokes and Baylor secured victory with a double stomp and reverse DDT combination.
Later, Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno overcame Nathan Frazer and Axiom in another quarter-final encounter.
Frazer and Axiom came close to winning on several occasions, but Dar and Moreno eventually secured the victory with a Russian leg sweep and kick combination.
In other action, Tristan Angels defeated Saquon Shugars after using the announce desk to send Shugars face-first into a chair before connecting with a knee strike.
La Catalina successfully retained the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship against Kali Armstrong, overcoming her challenger’s physical offence before finishing the match with a Shining Wizard.
Backstage, Dion Lennox attacked Cruz Montana, then used Montana’s telephone to call his mother in an attempt to intimidate him.
The episode concluded with Robert Stone discovering a mysterious note demanding that its author be appointed host of Halloween Havoc or face a curse. Flashing lights and familiar laughter teased the involvement of a “Very Nice, Very Evil” WWE personality.
