He thanks Page for reigniting his fire, and the former champion interrupts to demand his rematch. Robert Stone spawns in a referee, and tonight’s go-home show to Vengeance Day on Saturday begins.

The competitors wrestle in their dress shirts and shoes, brawling onto the announce desk. For a minute, The CW broadcasts the match in both picture-in-picture boxes, and Borne begins his comeback thereafter. Page loses his left shoe, drops his pants, and whacks Borne with a belt-assisted punch. While the referee discards his pants, Borne weaponizes Page’s right shoe and hits Borne Again for victory. “He stripped the man of everything, including his pants!” Vic Joseph comments.

In the parking lot, Zaria refuses to answer why she attacked Sol Ruca last week. DarkState meets with Robert Stone, who frantically pushes them inside before Tony D’Angelo’s arrival. From a bright yellow sports car, D’Angelo retrieves his signature crowbar.
After break, Blake Monroe heads in-ring, claiming that Jaida Parker needs her. “You don’t interrupt irrelevancy,” Monroe says about Parker’s interference in last week’s Speed Tournament match. Parker coincidentally interrupts, saying, “You’ve been a supporting character, praying for that starring role.” Parker regurgitates the “b—” insult and stands tall after hitting Hipnotic.
The Vanity Project apologizes to a defeated Ethan Page, and Ricky Saints tells them to focus on tomorrow’s Evolve Succession II. Saints tries rallying Page, like a commendable friend, before prepping for tonight’s “Absolute Experience.”
Back in the locker room, Sean Legacy and Eli Knight congratulate new Speed Champion Elio LeFleur. Former champion Jasper Troy interrupts and disses Keanu Carver, who defeated Legacy last week. Josh Briggs says Troy isn’t the best big man anymore, and the latter issues a triple threat between himself, Legacy and Knight.
Wren Sinclair vs Nikkita Lyons – Speed Tournament
Sinclair is accompanied by Evolve Women’s Champion Kendal Grey, who defends at Succession II in a street fight. The competitors scrap for the first two minutes, Sinclair makes a comeback, and Lyons connects with a spinning heel kick. Sinclair hits a back suplex and applies the Final Wrench, earning the tap with five seconds left. She advances to the finals against Thea Hail next week.

NXT Champion Joe Hendry congratulates Myles Borne, who shares his gratitude for being deaf and unable to listen to Ricky Saints’ performance tonight. “Makes me wish I was deaf too,” Hendry responds, ultimately sharing a laugh.
Cameras follow Kehlani Jordan’s training day with Shayna Baszler at RUDOS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Jordan tries arguing that her gymnastics approach will help defeat Lola Vice in NXT Underground at Vengeance Day.
Women’s North American Champion Izzi Dame and challenger Tatum Paxley conduct their own sit-down at The Culling’s hideout. Dame says Paxley is unloveable and pathetic, and the latter says she’ll revel in the satisfaction of beating her. “I was never meant to be played with,” Paxley says, dropping her doll in Dame’s hands.
Shiloh Hill, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs The Vanity Project
The Vanity Project blindsides the opposition into break. Meanwhile, Keanu Carver tells Booker T, “Tell your boy to keep my name out his mouth,” referring to WWE LFG winner Jasper Troy. Booker T rightfully wonders why the tough guy involved a middle man. Ledger eventually receives the hot tag until Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes trap him between the steel steps and apron, allowing Jackson Drake to capitalize with a baseball slide. Hill makes his own comeback after commercial, and Drake hits a Burning Hammer on Walker. The latter recuperates with a Boss Man Slam, Honk Honk and stereo dives, leading to a neckbreaker from Hill for victory.

Blake Monroe invades the announce desk next, demanding a street fight against Jaida Parker at Vengeance Day. Parker accepts while Hill, Walker and Ledger play good samaritans in a pull-apart.
DarkState finds Osiris Griffin floored, and Dion Lennox tells Robert Stone he’s calling out Tony D’Angelo now. After break, D’Angelo talks to Lennox from the stands, promising to take him out Saturday. “At NXT Takeover – the DarkState takeover is far from over,” Lennox responds.
From earlier footage, a doctor warns Lola Vice about her fractured hand. Vice takes the chance of permanent damage, telling the doctor she’ll “shut Kehlani up for good” at Vengeance Day.
No Quarter Catch Crew reunites, and Charlie Dempsey says he and Tavion Heights are spinning wheels. Birthright interrupts to ask for Dempsey’s inclusion, and Heights scoffs at taking advice from Lexis King.
Jacy Jayne (c) vs Zaria – NXT Women’s Champion
Backed by Fatal Influence, Jayne says they’re watching out for a vengeful Sol Ruca. Zaria powers over the champion until Lainey Reid saves her, sending the former into the steel steps. After break, the challenger hits a second-rope suplex, and Jayne halts her comeback with a knee strike. Zaries recuperates with a spear, Jayne hits Rolling Encore, and Ruca arrives to take out Fatal Influence. She connects with a double Sol Snatcher on Zaria and Jayne, holding up the NXT Women’s Championship.

Vic Joseph runs down the Vengeance Day card, making Booker T so excited he forgets his headset is up. In his office, Robert Stone thanks NXT fans for Stand & Deliver’s pre-sale numbers and admits needing to take control of the women’s division.
Donning silver leopard print, Ricky Saints begins the “Absolute Experience.” His signature strobe lights surround him in-ring as he attempts to play “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter. He asks a stagehand for a steel chair to sit on, but his interpolation of “I Believe in Ricky” doesn’t improve. He demands a new guitar, and the stagehand, revealed to be Joe Hendry, delivers one to the back. The Vanity Project arrives for a four-on-one beatdown, but Myles Borne makes the save.
