Opening WWE NXT this week…I am not sure why Ethan Page and Chelsea Green are celebrating their Muy Grande Championship, AAA Mixed Tag Team on NXT but there they are walking through the parking lot with Alba Fyre clearing the way. Someone needs to replace Piper Niven soon. Alba looks overworked.
NXT Women’s Champion Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame and Lola Vice versus Fatal Influence
Lola and Tatum hug but Izzi just stares at Lola when she approaches her. Jacy Jayne throws her jacket in Izzi’s face and that just puts her in a worse mood. Everyone is trash talking in everyone else’s face before the bell ring. The official separates them. Tatum and Jacy start off. Tatum stomps Jacy into a corner tagging in Vice for some knee strikes and body shots. Vice is distracted by the official. Jacy kicks her in the face.
Lainey Reid gets caught in an arm lock until Izzi tags in slamming her and drop kicking her. A slingshot into the ropes by Henley and a haymaker to the face stuns Tatum. Tatum manages to tag in Lola who fights off both Henley and Reid. Tatum and Lola do double hip attacks then dance around. They invite Izzi to join them. She waves them off.
As Henley distracts the official Jacy pulls Lola’s hair from the apron. Reid clocks Lola in the chops. Lola is trapped in the wrong corner and gets seriously worked over.
Lola finally dodges Jacy’s cannonball. Tatum takes out Fatal Influence on her own splash all three in opposite corners. Tatum stumbles into the ropes as Henley kicks her off. Reid punches her from the floor. Henley mows down Tatum. Izzi has to save the match.

Josh Briggs versus El Grande Americano
This match goes on far, far too long. The fans are actually cheering for Americano which shows you how much they hate Briggs. An arm drag into an arm lock has Briggs grounded. As Americano is on the top rope he sees Jasper Troy with his chain in the audience. Briggs takes over the match. Tavion Heights slides into the ring with some kind of harness, battle pack on? As the official is distracted, the luchadores attack Briggs from behind with a double backstabber. Americano makes Briggs tap out.
