WWE’s Night of Champions event in Saudi Arabia is reportedly in doubt amid ongoing regional tensions.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, sources within WWE view the Night of Champions pay-per-view as unlikely to proceed as planned due to the situation in the Middle East. While no final decision has been made, the report states the current internal outlook is uncertain.
The update follows previous reports from Dave Meltzer, who noted that multiple major events across sports in the region have been affected, including WWE’s planned shows. Bryan Alvarez has also reported that WWE has held internal discussions regarding its Saudi Arabia schedule, though nothing has been officially cancelled.
WWE held the Royal Rumble in Riyadh on January 31 as part of its ongoing partnership with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority. Two further events had been tentatively planned for 2026, including Night of Champions and a later show in November.
The situation carries financial implications, with each Saudi Arabia event reportedly worth around $55 million under the current agreement, which runs through at least 2027. WWE has not issued an official statement regarding the status of Night of Champions or its remaining Saudi Arabia events.
