WWE has reportedly changed its planned main event for Money in the Bank 2026, with Roman Reigns now expected to close the show against LA Knight.
The premium live event takes place on October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and currently features five matches. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, the World Heavyweight Championship match between Roman Reigns and LA Knight is now scheduled to headline the event.
WWE Money In The Bank Main Event Plans Reportedly Changed
The report indicates that WWE originally intended for the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match to close the show. If those plans had remained in place, it would have marked the first time since 2022 that a Money in the Bank Ladder Match headlined the event.
However, WWE has reportedly shifted its plans in favour of the World Heavyweight Championship encounter between Reigns and Knight. WWE has not officially confirmed the reported match order, so further changes remain possible ahead of the event.
