WWE is reportedly interested in signing AEW and ROH wrestler Dralistico when his contract expires in December 2026. According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE is expected to pursue the Mexican wrestler once he becomes a free agent, with sources believing he could be a valuable addition to both WWE’s main roster and AAA. Dralistico recently fuelled speculation about his future by posting an AI-generated image of himself in a jail cell alongside the caption “Maybe not for long?”
His brother, Dragon Lee, currently competes in WWE, raising the possibility of a family reunion. Dralistico last wrestled on the June 6 episode of AEW Collision, competing in a Trios Championship match against The Conglomeration. No formal offer or agreement with WWE has been reported.
Rapper Lil Yachty has said he wants to join WWE full-time and could abandon his music career entirely if he succeeds in professional wrestling. Speaking to Complex, Yachty, who recently appeared alongside Trick Williams on WWE programming, described wrestling as more disciplined and demanding than the music industry, especially when it comes to making an impact in limited television time.
Despite the challenges, he said he’s excited about WWE and confirmed he is actively pursuing a full-time role. Yachty admitted that he might never release another album if he makes the transition, declaring that if he climbs the ranks and earns the money he wants, he would happily spend the rest of his career performing wrestling moves and being thrown through tables.
Check out the lineup for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
