A WWE Hall of Famer has teased the idea of stepping back into the ring to capture another title.
WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has hinted that another run between the ropes could be in her future, along with a possible return to the Women’s Championship picture. During a recent visit to WWE’s new headquarters, Stratus shared a video update that sparked speculation about a comeback. While touring the building, she pointed out her place on a mural celebrating WWE legends and suggested she might not be finished just yet.
“I might run the ropes,” Stratus said. “I made the mural! I see myself right here. I made the cut, that’s cool.”
Stratus then turned her attention to a display highlighting WWE’s current champions. Passing the section dedicated to reigning Women’s Champion Jade Cargill appeared to plant another seed.
“Maybe I need to return to this wall, just sayin’,” she added.
When Did Trish Stratus Last Win The WWE Women’s Title?
Trish Stratus last held the Women’s Championship in 2006, winning the belt from Lita at Unforgiven on September 17. She then vacated the title on the next night on Raw while also announcing her retirement, closing out a historic run that saw her win the title seven times. She briefly returned to in-ring competition in 2025 as part of celebrations marking 25 years since her debut.
In addition to her record-setting career in the women’s division, Stratus is also a former Hardcore Champion. While she has not confirmed any official plans, her comments have fuelled fresh talk of one more title chase before she steps away for good.
