One WWE Hall of Famer believes there is only one logical way for Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi to settle their rivalry.
Speaking on his My World podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett backed the idea of Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi meeting in a Last Man Standing Match if WWE moves forward with a decisive third bout between the two powerhouses.
The rivalry currently stands at one victory apiece following their latest encounter at Clash in Italy, with Femi recently suggesting that his issues with Lesnar are far from over. Jarrett argued that both men have been presented as virtually unstoppable forces throughout the feud, making a traditional match feel insufficient for a potential rubber match.
“Oba dominated match one. We can say easily in a match package, recap package, Brock dominated in match two,” Jarrett said. “Both guys can pretty much say that they were beat, but they were not hurt.”
According to Jarrett, a Last Man Standing stipulation would raise the stakes and force both competitors to prove who is truly the more dominant athlete.
“I think they’re going to step this up and you’re going to have in your mind, all right, what are we going to see new that we didn’t see in match one or two?” Jarrett said. “My gut says everybody says Last Man Standing.”
Jarrett also questioned what it would take to finally keep either man down for a ten-count after the punishment both have already absorbed during the rivalry.
“What are they going to do to tell the story that one guy will not be able to stand for?” he asked.
The WWE Hall of Famer added that the concept becomes even more compelling if the match takes place in Lesnar’s adopted home state of Minnesota.
“The Last Man Standing rubber match in Brock’s hometown to me is very intriguing.”
Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future In Doubt After Apparent WrestleMania 42 Retirement
Speculation surrounding Brock Lesnar’s future has continued throughout 2026, with reports suggesting SummerSlam could potentially serve as the setting for his final match. If WWE decides to revisit the rivalry, many fans have already pointed to a Last Man Standing Match as the natural conclusion.
Jarrett is not alone in that belief, with fellow Hall of Famer Bully Ray also previously backing the stipulation as the ideal way to end a feud between two of WWE’s most physically dominant stars.
For now, WWE has yet to announce a third match, but discussion about how Lesnar and Femi could settle the score continues to grow following Clash in Italy.
