A WWE Hall of Famer has revealed how Kevin Nash and Scott Hall’s arrivals in WCW were kept completely hidden from almost everyone involved.
Speaking on an episode of The ARN Show, Arn Anderson said that only a very small inner circle knew what was coming, and the secrecy around the angle helped make it feel authentic when it aired.
“Every piece of this story was kept from everybody. Only ones that knew were that inner circle, and none of us knew. They did a good job of kayfabing,” Anderson recalled.
He added that he prefers not to know the full details of a major storyline beforehand, comparing it to watching a magic act.
“I don’t want to be told everything that’s going on. If somebody’s got something that’s really cool, whether it’s a move or promo or any aspect of the business. If it’s something really good, I like to be surprised with it. Would you go to a magic show, watch David Copperfield, would you want to know where he puts the dove underneath there and goes where the dove went?”
Is Arn Anderson Signed To WWE?
Despite returning to WWE at SummerSlam in 2024 after his AEW contract expired in May 2024, Arn Anderson is not currently signed to WWE. Anderson did appear at the January 25, 2025, episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event, but he was simply invited to the show as a guest and not as a contracted employee.
