A potential return to the ring remains on the table for one WWE Hall of Famer, though only under the right circumstances.
Speaking to The Takedown on Sports Illustrated, Trish Stratus said she is open to another run with WWE, but stressed that any comeback would need to be driven by the right story and purpose.
“I need to see the landscape,” Stratus said. “I’m very story, storyline driven. And for me, is it going to be interesting for the fans? Is it something they want to see? Is it going to elevate someone? And of course, there’s the storyline behind it.”
She added that storytelling remains central to her decision-making process.
“I love the story. I want to make sure it makes sense and I want to make sure the landscape makes sense for me to enter into.”
Stratus last competed for WWE in 2025 as part of the 25th anniversary of her debut. During that run, she appeared in the Royal Rumble match, teamed with Tiffany Stratton at Elimination Chamber, and later faced Stratton in a singles match at Evolution, where Stratton retained the WWE Women’s Championship.

Stratus will be joined during the week by Mickie James, Lilian Garcia, Jazz, and Lisa Marie Varon. Originally retiring from full-time competition in 2006, Stratus has made several returns to WWE over the years and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
