Fans who tune into Raw tonight will likely see a special announcement from a WWE talent.
Word is that Naomi will be addressing the WWE universe and in doing so could be forfeiting the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Before last week’s show it was announced by WWE that her title match against Iyo Sky was cancelled because Naomi wasn’t medically cleared to compete.
On Busted Open Radio, Natalya commented on the situation: “It’s one of those things that somebody will know what’s going on but in this situation, Naomi is a really close friend of mine, but I just feel like it’s a time right now where she needs space. So, usually when something crazy is going on, I don’t think it’s crazy in a bad way, but I think that obviously, it’s private, it’s personal. I feel like she will talk about it when she’s ready to talk about it but I know she would have loved to have wrestled IYO on Monday.”
Speculation is that Naomi has a serious injury she is dealing with or she is expecting but in any case she is going to be gone for a extended period of time.
