New tag team champions were crowned on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
In the main event of last night’s episode of WWE Raw, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defended the Women’s Tag Team Championship against The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). As Flair and Bliss seemed like they would retain the title, as Flair had Asuke hooked in a Figure Eight Leg Lock, Nia Jax and Lash Legend broke up the submission when the referee was distracted.
Sane then hit an Insane Elbow from the top rope onto Flair and got the three count to win the Women’s Tag Team Title. After the match ended, Jax, Legend, Asuka, and Sane launched an assault on Flair and Bliss, but Iyo Sky came out to make the save, but she was quickly cut off and also beaten down.
But then, Rhea Ripley came out to help Flair, Bliss, and Sky fend off the heels, and together they sent them all out of the ring, closing the show with the four babyfaces standing tall over the heels. Before Raw went off the air, Ripley shouted out “WarGames” to signal that both teams would face each other in a WarGames match at Survivor Series.
