WWE Crown Jewel 2026 remains scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia despite ongoing security concerns and travel restrictions following a series of Houthi attacks.
The premium live event is set for November 7 in Riyadh, although recent developments in the region have raised questions about whether the show will proceed as planned.
According to the Wrestling Observer on X, Riyadh’s airport has reopened following multiple attacks by the Houthis. However, flight restrictions remain in place, while several major sporting events scheduled for the city have been postponed or cancelled. Despite the disruption, WWE has not announced any changes to Crown Jewel, with preparations for the event continuing.
WWE Crown Jewel Relocation Plans Reportedly Remain Unchanged
According to PWInsider, WWE has not held discussions about relocating the event to another venue or country. The report states that the company has remained in regular communication with Saudi Arabian officials and private security agencies as it continues to assess the situation.
However, separate reports have suggested that WWE has a backup location in the United States should circumstances prevent the event from taking place in Riyadh. WWE has not publicly confirmed the existence of any contingency arrangements, and there has been no official indication that the company intends to move or postpone the pay-per-view.
Meanwhile, two champion-versus-champion matches have already been announced for the premium live event. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is scheduled to face Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.
On the women’s side, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will take on WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Both matches will see Raw and SmackDown’s respective world champions compete for Crown Jewel honours.
For now, WWE Crown Jewel 2026 remains scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, with the company continuing its preparations despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding travel and security in Saudi Arabia.
