WWE is reportedly considering reviving the Sin Cara character with a new wrestler portraying the masked luchador. According to PWInsider, preliminary pitches have been made to bring back the gimmick, and Bryan Alvarez of F4W later confirmed the report. Neither outlet identified a potential replacement, although False Finish separately claimed that AAA wrestler Myzteziz Jr. is among those being considered for the role. The original Myzteziz character was portrayed by Místico during his 2014–2015 stint with AAA. Discussions remain in the early stages, and it is unclear whether WWE will bring Sin Cara back to television or who would ultimately portray the character.
Shotzi Blackheart made her official TNA roster debut on Thursday’s episode of Impact, coming to Allie’s aid after her former tag team partner, Kiera Hogan, betrayed her. After losing the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships to Apex at Bound For Glory, Allie asked for a rematch, but Hogan refused and called her the team’s “weakest link.” Tasha Steelz then attacked Allie alongside Hogan, reuniting Fire N’ Flava before Blackheart intervened and forced the pair to retreat. Blackheart previously appeared in TNA during 2018 and 2019, including matches involving Allie. Following her WWE departure in mid-2025, she joined MLW and captured the Women’s Featherweight Championship, which she still holds on MLW programming due to taping delays.
Former WWE Champion Big E, real name Ettore Ewen, married Kris, the sister of WWE star Mia Yim, on Wednesday after the couple became engaged in May 2025. The wedding was attended by wrestlers from WWE, AEW and TNA, including Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed. According to Bryan Alvarez, the ceremony is why Kingston and Creed missed this week’s AEW Dynamite. The couple began dating in April 2024 and announced their engagement on May 5, 2025.
It marks the first marriage for Big E, 40, who officially retired from wrestling in October 2025 following a broken neck suffered during a match against Ridge Holland. He continues working with WWE as an on-screen host and assisting with college recruitment tryouts.
