WWE and Montez Ford are facing a lawsuit filed by a security guard who alleges that Ford performed an unwanted sexualised dance against him during the July 6 episode of Raw. According to POST Wrestling, Noel Lucas filed the lawsuit in Cook County, Illinois, on October 14, naming WWE, Ford and Event Services, LLC as defendants. Lucas claims Ford repeatedly thrust his hips towards him and made physical contact during The Street Profits’ entrance, causing humiliation and emotional distress.
He also alleges that he and his children subsequently faced public ridicule. The lawsuit includes 14 counts, including assault, battery and violations of Illinois law, with Lucas seeking damages and legal costs. The allegations have not been proven in court, and WWE has not publicly responded. A hearing is scheduled for December 10.
Former WWE wrestler Zach Gowen has officially announced his retirement from professional wrestling after a 24-year career. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Gowen thanked promoters and fans for treating him as a legitimate wrestler rather than a novelty act. He described his match against Ricochet at AEW Dynamite Beach Break in May 2025, in front of his family, as the greatest moment of his career. Gowen also reflected on overcoming drug addiction and rebuilding his life and passion for wrestling. Best known for his WWE run in 2003 and 2004 alongside Hulk Hogan’s Mr. America character, Gowen recently worked in a production role for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling and last competed for the promotion in August 2026.
