WWE added two new title bouts to the Survivor Series card last night on Raw.
At the beginning of last night’s episode of Raw, John Cena came out to address the Madison Square Garden crowd, but was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who declared that he wanted a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship after losing it to Cena on last week’s episode of Raw.
Cena said he could face him right then and there, but Mysterio declined and said that he wanted his rematch at Survivor Series, and Cena accepted his challenge. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh then came out to attack Cena, but Sheamus and Rey Mysterio made the save, and it set up a six-man tag match right then and there.
Later on the show, Stephanie Vaquer was set to come and be interviewed in the ring to address Nikki Bella’s heel turn on last week’s Raw, where Bella attacked Vaquer with the WWE Women’s World Championship title belt after Vaquer successfully defended it against Raquel Rodriguez.
However, as Vaquer came out onto the entrance ramp, Bella attacked her from behind and cut a promo stating that she no longer wanted to be Vaquer’s cheerleader, and it was later confirmed that the two would face each other for the Women’s World Title at Survivor Series.
