WWE 2K26’s MyGM mode is set for a major overhaul, with new features, expanded match options and additional General Managers coming to the game.
2K Games released its latest Ringside Report, outlining several key changes to the mode. The default GM season length has been increased to 50 weeks, while starting budgets now range from $3 million to $7 million, with $5 million set as the standard. The larger budgets are intended to support bigger rosters of around 20 to 35 superstars per brand.
A new “Immortal” difficulty has also been added, offering a tougher challenge than the previous Extreme setting. In addition, the weekly booking timer will now remain paused at the start of each week, requiring players to manually begin the clock.
The update also brings a wider selection of match types and rules. MyGM now supports five-way, six-way and eight-way matches, as well as new formats such as three-on-three, four-on-four, triple threat tag and fatal four-way tag matches. New handicap options include one-on-two, one-on-three and one-on-four scenarios. Weekly booking will also feature ladder matches, battle royals, Bloodline Rules bouts, I Quit matches, Inferno matches, Dumpster matches and Three Stages of Hell.
Additional Playable General Managers Coming To WWE 2K26
The list of playable General Managers in WWE 2K26 has grown to 20, with Bobby Heenan, Stacy Keibler and the Anonymous General Manager joining the roster. For the first time, playable superstars such as CM Punk can also be drafted to a brand while serving as its GM. Players will also be able to randomise both GMs and brands.
Several premium live events are returning to the mode, including Backlash, Hell in a Cell, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam and WrestleMania. New additions include Clash at Paris, Crown Jewel, Battleground, Evolution, Great American Bash, Halloween Havoc, Night of Champions, No Mercy, Worlds Collide, Survivor Series: WarGames and Elimination Chamber.
Other features include the ability to double-book a superstar for both a promo and a match on the same show, offline custom championships, and updated Power Card mechanics that allow trading during specific weeks. Players can also disable the Power Card Store for a more strategic experience.
WWE 2K26 is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026, with early access beginning March 6 for premium editions.
