Two of WWE’s most iconic tag team stars are set to return to the company’s video game franchise in WWE 2K26.
Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy, collectively known as The Hardy Boyz, have been confirmed for WWE 2K26 as part of the game’s downloadable content lineup. The announcement was made shortly before the game’s early access launch when WWE 2K released a video on social media revealing the duo’s return to the series.
“Jeff and I are very excited to announce that the goats, Matt and Jeff, The Hardys, The Hardy Boyz are officially in WWE’s 2K26,” Matt Hardy said in the video.
Jeff Hardy added that the team will join the game later in the year as part of the Season 4 Ringside Pass DLC, which is scheduled to arrive in July 2026. The appearance will mark the first time both brothers have appeared in the same WWE 2K title in several years. Matt Hardy last appeared in WWE 2K20, while Jeff Hardy was most recently included in WWE 2K22.
Although an exact release date for the Season 4 DLC has not yet been confirmed, the pack is expected to launch sometime in July.
Other Stars Confirmed For WWE 2K26’s Ringside Pass
WWE 2K26 will also feature several additional characters through the Ringside Pass system. Among those scheduled to appear in upcoming DLC packs are AAA stars such as Psycho Clown, Mr Iguana and Lady Flammer. Other additions confirmed for the game include Kelly Kelly and Torrie Wilson, who are expected to appear in Seasons 2 and 3 of the Ringside Pass.
Meanwhile, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella is scheduled to be part of Season 5, while legendary tag team Typhoon and Earthquake will join the game through Season 6. With the return of The Hardy Boyz and several other notable names, WWE 2K26 is shaping up to feature one of the most diverse downloadable rosters in the history of the franchise.
