WWE has filed a new trademark for the NXT stable DarkState, possibly signalling their debut on the main roster could be coming soon.
Programming Insider has reported that WWE SmackDown saw a significant drop in viewership for the Halloween night episode, as the show only averaged 933,000 viewers compared to 1.147 million the week before.
Programming Insider has also reported that the November 1 AEW Collision viewership was also down from the week prior, dropping from 228,000 on October 25 to 217,000 on November 1.
Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE is deliberately teasing that AEW stars could possibly appear in John Cena‘s “The Last Time is Now” tournament, which is why Cena said the line about wrestlers who don’t currently work at WWE could show up for the tournament in his announcement vignette.
