Ricochet’s reply to a critic on X has angered some wrestling fans.
In reply to an AEW clip of him throwing a temper tantrum backstage after losing the 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royal and the AEW National Championship to Jack Perry at Revolution last night, Sandi T. posted on X: “His acting hasn’t improved.”
😂😂😂😂😂 His acting hasn’t improved

Ricochet replied: “I’m glad you got MS.”

In her X bio, Sandi T. posted: “Love my Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Trying not to let my MS control my life.”
“MS” being Multiple Sclerosis, a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks the protective myelin covering of nerves in the brain and spinal cord, disrupting communication between the brain and the rest of the body. Its prognosis varies widely. Many people live long lives with manageable symptoms, especially with modern treatments, though some may develop progressive disability over time. Sand T. doesn’t post a whole lot on X but last month she mentioned she had lost her sister to cancer ten years ago and has recently posted photos of herself in the hospital.
Sandi T. wrote back to Ricochet: “Well if that makes you happy have a great life …”

Even if it is part of him being a heel, some fans were not happy with Ricochet’s comment. Some even demand Tony Khan take action against him.
I’m all for Performers going back at fans but this is probably not the way to do it.

I still like ricochet the performer and will continue to. I think you’re probably one of the most underutilized talents ever and I wanted so badly for you to succeed in WWE, I’m glad you are now in AEW. However as someone who has loved ones with MS, that sucked to read man.

@TonyKhan do you condone this kind of behavior in your company? As someone who has a family member with MS, this is incredibly upsetting to see a talent of yours say something like this. I do not know if I can still be an AEW fan if your talent are saying things like this.

This ain’t it.
Too far man and this is coming from a AEW fan but that’s crazy talk
— SyphinB3 (@SyphinB) March 16, 2026
i get being a heel but this is just being arrogant as a human
— thomas (@memernak) March 16, 2026
Thought this tweet was fake because I can’t believe someone would say that about another human https://t.co/1QgaKCMMZ7’s sad
— Purity Joanna (@puritykelx) March 16, 2026
Oh that’s not…….. this is disgusting actually this ain’t even heel work this is just gross human behaviour

Hope no one in your family ever suffers from MS. I can assure you it shouldn’t be used for ‘cheap heat’.
— Craig Edward (@CraigMcF941) March 16, 2026
This is disgusting, my GRANDMA died of MS a couple years ago, this is nothing to troll about. @TonyKhan should be embarrassed to have this man on his payroll

You are the lowest form a human can be. We know you’re a POS. But this is just too much. Gimmick or not.

Ricochet excused his actions by saying: “Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little bitches who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. People who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little bitches can’t take it when I do it back to people. F—–g pussies, everywhere.”

This led to even more comments:
That person made a critical comment on your performance as an entertainer and you felt like the appropriate response is to say you’re glad they got MS. Talk about an overreaction.
Either your character’s gimmick has poisoned your actual character, or they are not so different…

You’ve got a hot wife, you’re a famous professional wrestler whos known worldwide and yet you’re so insecure. Being a ‘heel’ is one thing, but bringing up someones debilitating illness because they criticised your acting is next level pathetic

So far, there has been no statement and no comment from AEW.
