Last year’s WrestleMania 42 didn’t live up to the hype or the expectations. It hasn’t ‘wowed’ anyone financially either.
Pollstar has revealed that Night One on Saturday, April 18, brought in $17,441,679 and 45,215 tickets sold.
Night Two on Sunday, April 19th, brought in $18,558,414 and 48,158 tickets sold.
That amounts to $36 million and 93,373 tickets in total.
WrestleMania 41 made $66 million in total with 113,412 tickets sold.
This means WrestleMania 42 made 45.45% less than 41 and sold 48.43% fewer tickets.
Next year’s WrestleMania 43 is scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027. It will be the first WrestleMania held outside North America.
