Will Ospreay has confirmed a major personal milestone, but it will come at the cost of a key appearance in Japan.
The AEW star revealed he will marry Alex Windsor on June 15, 2026, one day after a major New Japan Pro-Wrestling event at Osaka-jo Hall. The timing means Will Ospreay will be unable to compete at the June 14 show, opting instead to prepare for the ceremony.
“I can’t appear at Osaka-jo Hall (June 14th) because my wedding is the day after the event, but I want to participate in as many big New Japan matches as possible this year,” Ospreay told Tokyo Sports. “AEW is the best environment, but I have special feeling for Japan, and I also want to spend more time with the members of United Empire.”
Will Ospreay’s NJPW Return
Both Will Ospreay and Alex Windsor are currently signed to AEW, though Ospreay has continued to maintain strong ties with NJPW. He recently returned to the promotion at Sakura Genesis and has expressed interest in pursuing the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Titles alongside Great-O-Khan and Henare.
