WWE president Nick Khan reportedly played a leading role in securing a Legends/Nostalgia contract for deathmatch veteran Necro Butcher, despite the wrestler never having competed for WWE. According to PWInsider, Khan is believed to have spearheaded the agreement, similar to his involvement in arranging a deal for the late New Jack’s family. Butcher, real name Dylan Summers, confirmed that he signed a basic contract and has already discussed potential projects with WWE, although he intends to take things slowly. The 53-year-old recently received renewed attention following a Dark Side of the Ring episode examining his infamous match against Samoa Joe. He remains active on the independent circuit, having wrestled 13 matches in 2026, including deathmatches.
Liv Morgan has revealed that WWE Hall of Famer Stephanie McMahon is her dream singles opponent. She also named Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY as opponents she particularly enjoys facing because of their physicality, which pushes her to perform at a higher level. Morgan additionally expressed interest in teaming with Dominik Mysterio against CM Punk and AJ Lee in a mixed tag team match. With Lee yet to officially confirm her retirement, that match remains possible.
