A new report has potentially shed light on what WWE’s original plans were for The Vision prior to Seth Rollins picking up a shoulder injury.
A report by Self Made Pro has suggested that WWE originally planned for a huge main event push for Bron Breakker after WrestleMania 42, but after Rollins picked up a shoulder injury that would see him out of action for up to six months, they were forced to alter their plans.
It was stated that the original plan was for Rollins and Roman Reigns to feud over the World Heavyweight Championship, and that Reigns would beat both Bronson Reed and Breakker on the lead up to WrestleMania, and he would win the Royal Rumble match and would challenge Rollins for the title at Mania and win.
After The Vision’s losses, Breakker would then turn on Rollins, similarly to how he did on the October 13 episode of Raw, and would be the new leader of The Vision, and then he and Reigns would feud over the title until SummerSlam, where Breakker would finally defeat Reigns for the title.
What Did Seth Rollins Say About His WWE Return Timeline?
Seth Rollins recently provided an update on his injury and WWE return timeline, stating that he recently had his shoulder brace removed and that he is on track with his recovery, and the aim is for him to be back in action within six months from his injury, meaning he could be back in time for WrestleMania season.
Rollins has been active in other media forms and has been announced for Netflix’s Christmas NFL coverage.
