Trey Miguel has taken to social media to thank fans for all of their support.
Miguel was slated to join AEW with the other members of The Rascalz but was released almost as soon as he signed with no explanation given by AEW.
Miguel himself did not reveal why AEW canceled his contract but wrote this on social media perhaps addressing the offensive posts he made on social media years ago.
“I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my time. I’ve always apologized and did my best to put a better foot forward after. I don’t preach hate and I don’t take any pride in being hateful. I’m a man of faith, I believe in forgiveness and only ever preach that. I’m a different man today,” he wrote.
Last night, he made his return to TNA as part of the Feast or Fired match with AJ Francis, Home Town Man, Rich Swann, Mance Warner, Eric Young, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and Steve Maclin. Miguel snatched a briefcase minutes into the match and took off. The announcers mentioned that he had signed a new contract with TNA.
Today he wrote: “I planned to step away from wrestling after the week I went through. It was really hard on me mentally and emotionally. I didn’t think I could do it anymore. Thank you to everyone who had my back, especially @ThisIsTNA. It was hard not to quit. But we can’t give up. Thank you God.”
