Velveteen Dream’s first big boxing match didn’t end so well.
Patrick Clark Jr. took on Ryan Pownall last night at the Duel Arena 1 event at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
Both men were making their professional cruiserweight boxing debuts. Pownall is a Canadian social-media personality, podcast host and creator with a large TikTok following.
At a press conference earlier in the week, Pownall mocked how far Clark has fallen in his career. Clark threatened Pownall with a metal pipe.
During their actual fight last night, Clark’s tactics cost him the bout. He continually tackled, shoved Pownall out of the ring and was eventually disqualified while Pownall threw a lot of really ineffective punches. The crowd booed throughout their bout.
