With just days to go before the first-ever international Royal Rumble, a major update has emerged on the custom-built stadium taking shape in Riyadh.
WWE is less than a week away from staging Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia, and new footage has offered the clearest look yet at the purpose-built venue rising in the King Abdullah Financial District. On January 26, social media user Mohammed Waheed shared photos and video showing the structure nearing completion, with the roof framework, lighting rigs, and Royal Rumble branding now in place.
The video also revealed newly installed LED lighting and upgraded production elements, underscoring the scale of the project. Rather than using an existing stadium, a venue has been constructed from the ground up for the January 31 event, creating what has been described as a WrestleMania-level setting for the Rumble.

The latest update follows an earlier leak on January 18 from Mohammed Mansour, who first showed the arena’s foundations, lighting towers, and security checkpoints. At the time, fans were surprised to learn that tickets had already gone on sale before the venue was publicly unveiled.
Despite the unconventional approach, early signs point to success. Internal figures reportedly show Royal Rumble 2026 has already become the most in-demand event in WWE history, with presales surpassing all previous company records.
What Matches Are Happening At The 2026 Royal Rumble?
There are currently four matches scheduled for the 2026 Royal Rumble in Riyadh, with the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches being the focal points of the show. The other matches confirmed will see AJ Styles face off against Gunther in a match where, if Styles loses, he must retire from wrestling.
The last confirmed match will see Drew McIntyre defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Sami Zayn, who won the right to challenge McIntyre by defeating Randy Orton, Damian Priest and Trick Williams in a Fatal Four-Way match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
