Royce Keys, formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW, has not been fired by WWE despite recent online rumours. Reports claiming he had been released over an alleged age issue have been dismissed, with Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net stating the story “shouldn’t even be a story.”

Keys made his WWE debut in the Men’s Royal Rumble on January 31, eliminating Damian Priest before being taken out by Bronson Reed. He has not appeared on television since, but is reportedly expected to make his official brand debut on the February 13 episode of SmackDown in Dallas.

According to PWInsider, AJ Styles is still in negotations with WWE, but the two parties have yet to sign a new deal, meaning that Styles will be free to negotiate with other promotions when his WWE deal comes to an end if he doesn’t sign an extension.
