Indi Hartwell has explained how WWE scans wrestlers for its video games. Speaking in an interview with JXT, Hartwell said female wrestlers are first scanned without makeup while sitting in a trailer surrounded by cameras, copying facial expressions shown on an iPad. Afterwards, they get their makeup done and return for additional scans, with the makeup then applied digitally to the facial expressions captured earlier for the in-game character models.
