A new update has emerged on Britt Baker’s AEW status following her recent return to the ring after nearly two years away.
Britt Baker competed on the September 9 Rebel Heart edition of Dynamite but has not wrestled for AEW since. However, her absence from subsequent shows does not appear to signal another extended spell away from the company. According to Sean Ross Sapp during a Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Baker is back on the road with AEW and is expected to make several more television appearances.
“Yes, she’s back on the road with All Elite Wrestling and expected for several upcoming television dates,” Sapp wrote.
Britt Baker Expected For Upcoming AEW Television Dates
One upcoming show of particular interest is the September 30 episode of Dynamite, which will take place at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pittsburgh is Britt Baker’s hometown, although she has not been officially announced for the show.
Baker made her long-awaited in-ring return on the September 9 episode of Dynamite, teaming with Hikaru Shida and Persephone against Hyan, Maya World and Thunder Rosa. Baker, Shida and Persephone picked up the victory. The match was Baker’s first for AEW in nearly two years. Her previous ring appearance came on the November 13, 2024 episode of Dynamite, when she defeated Penelope Ford.
While AEW has yet to confirm when Baker will next appear on television, the former AEW Women’s World Champion is reportedly travelling with the company again and is expected at several upcoming television dates.
