An update has been provided on when Dominik Mysterio could return to the WWE from injury.
Dominik Mysterio is reportedly close to returning from his shoulder injury, with talk on Monday that the Judgment Day member was expected to be in Philadelphia for WWE Raw. According to PWInsider Elite, Mysterio’s return to the road is happening sooner rather than later. While it was not confirmed whether he would appear on television or simply be backstage, the belief is that he is ready to be worked back into storylines.
What Injury Has Dominik Mysterio Been Out With?
Dominik Mysterio has been sidelined in recent weeks due to a shoulder issue that he suffered while working at AAA Guerra De Titanes on December 20, 2025, forcing him to miss several episodes of Raw and live events. His absence has been noticeable within The Judgment Day, with the group continuing on the red brand without one of its central figures.
The injury was serious enough to require time away, but his reported presence in Philadelphia suggests he has either been cleared or is close to receiving medical clearance to resume in-ring activity. Although he has been away for some time, he was not forced to vacate the WWE Intercontinental or AAA Mega Championships.
Mysterio is in his second reign as IC Champ, after winning the belt back from John Cena at Survivor Series. Cena took the title from Mysterio on the November 10 episode of Raw.
With WrestleMania 42 season now underway following the Royal Rumble, Mysterio’s potential return adds another wrinkle to the Judgment Day’s plans heading into WWE’s biggest show of the year.
