The wait was five years. The fight was 69 Seconds.
Thirteen years after their first fight, Conor McGregor and Max Holloway rolled it back at UFC 329. McGregor has been away from the fight game for five years though and Holloway predicted that would have an effect on the outcome of their battle and he was probably right as this fight ended in no time at all due to injury after months and months of hype and build up.
Round One
Conor slips and falls trying to throw a roundhouse kick. His leg buckles.. Max just punishes him with punches as Conor tries to get back up.
Conor throws a punch and falls to the mat again. Max looks confused. He appeals to the official. When he gets the okay he lands more punches on a fallen Conor. Conor kicks and kicks trying to get back up.

When Conor does, he limps and staggers. He calls the fight. The crowd boos.
Conor and Max hug.
Max wins via TKO at 1 minute and nine seconds in the very first round.
As he is being interviewed, Max asks the crowd to give it up for Conor and they boo Conor. Max claimed he wanted to call the fight but Conor wouldn’t.
“You are so lucky. There will be a McGregor and Max three now,” he said.

In Max’s mind they have to run the fight back again.
The co-main event also ended in no time at all when Paddy Pimblett made Benoît Saint Denis submit in just 56 seconds of their bout. A very disappointing night for fight fans everywhere.

Lightweight Main Card Opener: King Green versus Terrance McKinney
Round One
King uses some kicks to keep Terrance away. Green is cut already from a quick left jab. Another left rocks King and a shot to the body. King tries to wipe the blood out of his eyes. Shot after shot bloodies King some more. Terrance takes King down and lands punch after punch. King tries to cover up but the blows keep landing.
Terrance grabs him from behind. King punches and punches with his right hand. Terrance is bleeding now as well. King gets back to his feet. King lands some kicks to the body but is taking more jabs. A shot to the body drops Terrance. King’s kicks to the body land and does a shot to the body in a rally that takes Terrance down. King pummels Terrance into submission with just a few seconds left in the first round. It was King’s 53rd pro fight.
Winner: King Green by TKO

Flyweight Bout: Brandon Royval vs. Lone’er Kavanagh
Round One
A lot of feeling each other out. Royval unbalances Kavanagh with kicks and jabs. Royval catches a kick and punches Kavanagh over and over. He does the same thing seconds later. Kavanagh’s nose is bleeding from a jab. Royval takes Kavanagh down into the cage. They battle on the mat. Royval rains punches down on Kavanagh. Kavanagh maneuvers back to his feet and takes Royval down. Kavanagh kicks at him.
Round Two
Royval’s reach is making the difference in this fight. Kavanagh hits a nasty kick to the body and a punch to the ribs. A punch staggers Kavanagh. They go to the mat where they trade lightning shots. They get back to their feet. Royval looks like nothing happening landing some jabs. Kavanagh dishes out some of his own. They grapple into the cage and do so again minutes later with Royval taking Kavanagh down. Back to their feet, Royval throws punch after punch and kicks. Kavanagh counters back with a combination and a spin kick.
Round Three
They hug before they start battling again. Royval and Kavanagh just swing wildly with kicks and jabs. Royval gets out of an attempted guillotine and drops elbows. Royval locks on a triangle. Kavanagh breaks the hold but ends up in a body triangle. Royal locks in a rear naked choke. Kavanagh taps out.
Winner: Brandon Royval via Submission

Bantamweight Bout Fight: Cory Sandhagen vs. Mario Bautista
Round One
Mario opens with a big kick to the head. Cory catches another kick from Mario. A punch stuns Mario, knocks him back. A high kick does the same. Mario puts Cory in a body lock. They move from the cage back to the middle of the ring. Cory lands a couple of body shots that push Mario back. A left jab forces Mario to cover up. Mario takes Cory down to the mat. Mario is forced to let go of a leg lock when the bell goes.
Round Two
Cory’s leg looks blown out, unsteady. Mario has slowed down after Cory hits some jabs. Mario grabs Cory and eats some shots. Mario is cut above his eye. They wrestle in the cage and then back out. Mario goes for the leg but Cory twists away. Mario takes two punches to the face as the round ends.
Round Three
Mario’s left hand takes Cory down. Mario just pummels him on the lat. Cory locks up Mario’s leg. As they get to their feet, Mario pounds on Cory some more. Mario drags Cory to the mat again locking up his arm. He is all over Cory tying him up. Cory switches things up taking Mario down. Back on their feet, an elbow to the face hurts Mario. They end up on the mat again when the bell rings.
Winner: Mario Bautista, by unanimous decision.
Lightweight Co-Main Event: Paddy Pimblett vs. Benoît Saint Denis
Round One
Benoit throws a kick and shoots in. Paddy puts him into a submission cranking down on his neck. The official calls it within 56 seconds. The End.
Winner: Paddy Pimblett via submission.

Welterweight Main Event: Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway
Winner: Max wins via TKO at 1 minute and nine seconds in the very first round.
