TrillerTV has just lost its biggest money-maker.
In a notice to its subscribers, Triller announced today that AEW has left the platform.
“We’re writing to let you know that AEW Plus is being discontinued. AEW and ROH PPVs are also no longer available for purchase on TrillerTV. If you have an active AEW Plus subscription, it will end on your next billing date. You’ll have full access until that date,” stated the company.
All AEW content that subscribers have watched on the platform before is still available to them.
AEW was the single largest individual Triller customer.
Their financial results for 2023 and 2024 revealed that AEW accounted for roughly one-fifth to one-quarter of their total revenue or approximately $6.6 million of their $27.48 million revenue in 2024 and $10.3 million of the $54.19 million in 2023.
A few weeks ago, Triller Group’s stock resumed Trading on Nasdaq after the company was suspended last year for not filing the above reports.
As one might expect, Triller’s stock had a rough day on Wall Street. It opened at $0.34 but closed at $0.28, dropping 19%.
AEW launched its own streaming platform, MYAEW, on March 9th.
