Is it Adam Cole? Is it Wardlow? Is it Dr. Britt Baker DMD? Is it Tony Khan himself? We are putting our money on Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett but what do we know?
Tony Khan hinted that fans would discover who The Devil is this weekend during his media call for AEW’s Worlds End today.
“It feels like we are getting close to that point. I do expect some big revelations and big moments at Worlds End,” said Khan about the show on Saturday when asked if the identity of The Devil would be revealed. “It is its own idea. It is something that I am excited about. I do feel like it is coming close to the culmination and it does feel like the secrets will be revealed at Worlds End and I am looking forward to it.”
The Devil character and their masked lackeys have been hounding, stalking MFJ for weeks on AEW television. The group has also attacked others such as Jay White, Adam Page, The Acclaimed and even MJF.
Last night on Dynamite, MJF lost the RoH World Tag Team Championships to two masked Devils as a third came from under the ring and whacked MJF’s injured arm, shoulder with a lead pipe. MJF had to wrestle a handicapped match as Joe was attacked backstage earlier on in the evening. Samoa Joe managed to hobble down to the ring with a steel chair driving the Devils off.

A message from who we assume is the leader of The Devils appeared on the big screen stating simply: “Pleasure doing business with y0u.” That was the cue for Joe to attack MJF from behind with the steel chair showing no signs of an injury.
“Max! I did this to you!” shouted Joe as he gave MJF a Muscle Buster on the injured shoulder.
Khan discussed the angle a bit more before moving on to other topics.
“It is something that has gotten a lot of people talking and it builds a lot of interest for Worlds End. The identity of The Devil and finding out last night that Samoa Joe is working with The Devil. It is MJF versus Samoa Joe (at Worlds End) and that twist adds a new layer to it knowing that Samoa Joe has been working with The Devil. But, who is The Devil now that we know it is not Samoa Joe? I am very excited for the match,” he said.
