AEW President Tony Khan has announced the new name of a tag team while announcing matches for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan posted on Twitter four new matches for this week’s Dynamite, and in that post, he announced a new tag team name for the team of Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne. The duo will now be known as MegaProblems.
Khan announced that the newly named MegaProblems will face off against Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa) in an AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final Hardcore Holiday Death Match.
Shafir and Bayne weren’t originally teaming together, but when Penelope Ford picked up an injury, Shafir replaced her as Bayne’s tag partner in the tournament, and they have gone on to defeat TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay) in the tournament opening round.
What Other Dynamite Matches Did Tony Khan Announce?
Other than the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament Semi-Final Hardcore Holiday Death Match, Tony Khan announced that Claudio Castagnoli will face Jon Moxley in a Continental Classic Blue League match, Kazuchika Okada will square off against Pac in a Gold League match, and we will see Kyle Fletcher vs. Kevin Knight in another Gold League match.
Dynamite will take place on December 3 at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.
