Tony Khan has revealed he is interested in launching an AEW Hall of Fame, while also admitting he has considered reviving the Ring of Honor Hall of Fame.
Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, the AEW President was asked about the future of the ROH Hall of Fame, which has not welcomed a new class since its inaugural induction in 2022, before Tony Khan purchased the promotion.
“Nobody’s ever asked me about that, or if they have, it’s been a really long time and I can’t remember. I really think that’s a tremendous thought. I have not added to the Ring of Honor Hall of Fame. It was a fantastic inaugural class that Ring of Honor, the previous administration, had inducted. I think they picked a fantastic class, and I do think there are people that would be fantastic additions to the Ring of Honor Hall of Fame, and it is definitely something to think about and something I am interested in.”
Khan said he has not given much thought to how a revived ROH Hall of Fame would be presented, noting that the original class was announced online rather than through a formal induction ceremony.

During the interview, Tony Khan was also asked whether current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena had earned a place in the Hall of Fame following her record-breaking title reign. Khan agreed she has a strong case for future induction.
The conversation later turned to the possibility of AEW establishing its own Hall of Fame. While Khan said there is no timetable for introducing one, he admitted the idea appeals to him.
“I think it’s a good thought. I’d be interested in doing it.”
Khan has previously identified Sting, the late Brodie Lee and Jay Briscoe as figures he believes would be worthy of induction into a future AEW Hall of Fame.
