Tonight, the rivalry between Team TNA and Team NXT comes to a head and will be decided in a Steel Cage match. There will be no shortage of blood, guts, and mayhem that will have an impact on the ten men between the canvas and the chain link surrounding the ring.
Which team will reign supreme this night?
We will find out as we are coming to you from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, TX. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt have the call, and your First Match is the…

20 Man Battle Royale
This will determine who will be the new Number One contender for the TNA World Championship at the start of 2026. There is a ton of humanity in the ring, with standouts like Moose, Eric Young, and Mance Warner, to name a few. Kazarian comes out to get an up close and personal view, festooned in a Snowman shirt as he takes a seat at commentary.
At Least he’s in the holiday spirit.
As for you, dear reader, know that unless it’s a big move, I’ll keep this short and sweet (plus, I’m also watching a Thursday Night Football game worth damn with my dad. So, y’know…priorities.)
After a break, not many people are out of the ring other than Skyler and BDE, to name a few. But then folks are dropping out of the ring like flies, with one of the big moves of the night being Myron Reed with a cutter over the top, and he gets an assist from his Rascalz to stave off elimination. It’s all for naught as Jake Something tosses him out.
Swann and Ryan Nemeth battle on the apron edge until AJ Franci$ pulls him off to eliminate him and gives a choke slam on the apron edge.
Eric Young clotheslines both Moose and Cedric Alexander over the top rope, and now it’s just he, Nemeth, and Bear Bronson remaining. Bronson sends Nemeth out, and Young tosses Bronson. He feels like he won, but Bronson’s feet did not land, and he is still in it. Young battles him on the apron edge, and goes for a powerbomb, but Bronson backdrops him and as a result…
Your Winner, and New Number One Contender: Bear Bronson
Hanifan points out that this is his second TNA match, and obviously, Bronson has more to do here than if he remained an Iron Savage.
Team TNA cut a promo, promising Team NXT they will face deletion. Santana says they’re not locked in a cage with men, but with dogs.
Time for the TNA Injury Report, and Cardona is still not medically cleared, Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell are being held from in-ring activity after their brutal dog collar match last week, and Rich Swann is being monitored after the attack he sustained at the hands of Franci$
Also, Santana will grace the cover of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, coming out online this week and available in print on January 13th. Congrats are in order.
Gia Miller talks to Bronson after becoming the new number one contender, and he feels validated. Every scar and blood he’s spilled was worth it, and it’s a bad time to be Kazarian.
Now for something undeniable, your next match is…

The Angel Warriors (Xia Brookside and Léi Ying Lee) vs. Tessa Blanchard and Mila Moore (with Victoria Crawford and Rob Stone)
Brookside and Moore start, and Moore has the height advantage. That matters little to Brookside, as she can overtake her. Lee tags in, and she and Blanchard go for it, but it isn’t long before the Angel Warriors send them out of the ring, and Brookside wipes out Moore and Blanchard, as does Lee, and they are in the driver’s seat. Stone distracts Lee, which allows Blanchard to dropkick her on the outside. Now she and Moore cut the ring in half, taking turns beating down Lee, who is an Angel in Peril.
We come back, and Lee is still trying to fight her way out. She pushes Blanchard away and gets a desperation missile dropkick. Before she could get the hot tag, Stone pulled Brookside off the edge. Lee then goes to Blanchard with a leg submission until Moore stomps on her back to break the hold. Moore is in control, but Lee manages to gut it out. Now she gets the hot tag to Brookside, who is a Warrior en Fuego on the Diamond Collective. Tag back to Lee and the Warriors drill her with Heaven Sent, but Blanchard breaks the pin count. As Brookside takes care of Blanchard, Lee hoists Moore on her shoulders for a swinging facebuster, and that secures the pin and the win.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Xia Brookside and Léi Ying Lee
Dani Luna cuts a promo on what she did to win last week, and she wants a shot at Lee’s TNA Knockouts title. She’s looking at her doomsday and wants Lee to see if she can survive her.
Miller is with the Angel Warriors as they celebrate the win. She informs what Luna said, and Lee will defend it anytime, anywhere…bitch.
Now, for something we know everybody likes, it’s the Mystic Cowboy himself, and the only mystery I have to ponder is…why did WWE punt when it came to this talent, or is it a twin like Ezekiel or Elias?
*ahem*
He plays it up for the El Paso crowd, and the tune is catchy, with fans shining their lights at the tune.
Everybody is having a good time…until the concert is cut off by Tasha Steelz, who kills the vibe. She addresses the matter from Final Resolution and what she did to Mustafa Ali, and speaking of which. He comes out to discuss the “Lasso in El Paso” and wants the fans to observe a moment of silence.
Short version, Elijah feels like a fight, and he gets jumped by “stagehands,” The Great Hands. After he deals with them, Elijah walks up the ramp and picks up Steelz. Ali uses that moment to blast him with a guitar, do the El Kabong, and leave him in a heap.
Music critics are worse than the IWC. Am I right, folks?
Hartwell on her thoughts after the dog collar match, and while she is out, she will come back.
Moose was close to being a contender, and isn’t making excuses. But he still has a rematch for the X-Division title against Leon Slater. Cedric Alexander steps in to revoke it.
Kazarian talks to an Elvis mural, and he’ll be ready to beat up a Bear, and this belt is not going anywhere.
Rehwoldt and Hanifan go over the rules for tonight. Two men from each team will start for up to two minutes, until a new competitor enters. This will go on until all five men are in the ring, and at that point, the only way to win is by pin or submission.
Basically, it’s like WarGames or Blood and Guts, only…smaller.
Also, gods forbid anyone co-ops that IP from either party.
Now for the Main Event, and this is the…

Steel Cage Match: Team TNA (Mike Santana, Steve Maclin, Santino Marella, Matt and Jeff Hardy) vs. Team NXT (Stacks, Alexis King, Brooks Jensen, Tyson DuPont, and Tyriek Igwe)
Same deal as before: I’m just gonna cover who enters and any big moves after that.
Jensen and Santana enter the cage. Santana comes out in style in a lowrider, a la Eddie Guerrero, and the El Paso crowd is feeling it from Papi.
Right away, Santana takes Jensen to the woodshed and lets him know there is Total Nonstop Action here. Now King enters, and it’s a two-on-one situation, using the cane to gouge Santana’s eye. Next up is Maclin, and he comes out with the Punisher warpaint, and he whips King in the back with the cane.
DuPont is next, and he gets a big choke slam on Maclin. That brings out Matt, but before he can enter the cage, Igwe comes out and slams him on the steel steps.
Igwe steps in, and Maclin and Santana are in trouble with the odds not in TNA’s favor. The clock counts down, and Jeff is here. He checks on his brother, and then the Charismatic Enigma gives some much-needed payback to Team NXT, before Jensen clips in the knee. Now Stacks is the fifth man to enter for team NXT, but then…
Some trippy music plays, and faster than you can ask, “What in the name of Helter Skelter?”, The Righteous come out and carry Matt out of the Impact Zone. Last out is Marella, and the Director of Authority makes this match official, even with a 5-4 advantage for NXT.
NXT is looking good, but Team TNA fires up despite the odds. All nine men are giving it their all, throwing heavy bombs, and at one point, Maclin puts Stacks in the cage in a tree of woe and spears him. He climbs up to the top for a Jarhead-butt dive, but Jensen grabs him along with Stacks. Marella and Santana assist, and all five men come down in a mega Tower of Doom drop to the center. Marella hits the Cobra, followed by Santana making him Spin the Block on Jensen, and it’s over in one, two, and three.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Team TNA
All four men raise their hands in victory and start to leave the ring. All except Marella, who stares a hole at Stacks until his daughter Arianna Grace. She’s in a tough predicament between her father and her fiancé, but she embraces her dad…and punts him in the…err, little Cobras. Santana and Maclin try to scale the cage, but it’s too late, and the damage is done as Grace and Stacks walk away.
TNA may have won this war, but for Marella, it’s a pyrrhic victory as the show comes to a close.
