Time for Total Nonstop Action as TNA wrestling deals with the fallout from last week’s Turning Point, and Mike Santana has a few things to say after losing the TNA World Championship. Plus, JDC wants to go out on his own terms and earn a shot at the TNA World title by going against Eric Young for a shot.
Before we get started, TNA gives a quick memorial for George Tahinos, and you can honor and help his family, too, if ya get a chance.
Coming to you from Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt have the call, as Santana appears, and he has a few things to say. The fans are deathly slint when Santana gets the mic, and I’ll let him speak his mind:

“I love you guys to death.
Let me tell you, just one month ago, I was on top of the world. I got to accomplish a goal and a dream that I fought my entire life for, and I got to share an amazingly beautiful moment with the person who saved my life, my baby girl. A moment that will live with me for the rest of my life. And then fast forward to last week, I got to celebrate another accomplishment that I’m really proud of, and I got to say that I made it to 1000 days clean and sober.
And just 24 hours later, literally, the next day, it was all snatched for me. Everything taken.
You know, they say we live life on life’s terms. When you think you at the top and you think everything is going good, life will humble you real quick. I’m living proof, and everything was taken from me.
Things got really dark for the first time on this journey. I was scared. I was scared of myself at a time that I would usually react with rage and with anger, I knew I couldn’t. So what did I do? Instead of coming to Turning Point, I had to check in with myself, and I went to a safe place.
I went to a meeting. Being in that meeting, it made me realize a lot of things. But one of the main things was that you all deserve for me to be here, you guys. You guys pay your hard-earned money for us to give you an escape; to give you an experience. You guys believed in me. You guys have rode with me when a lot of people didn’t, and I’m eternally grateful for that, so I want to thank you personally.
I had it all in my hands, literally, I had it all, and it was taken from me, but that made me want it that much more. So, Frankie Kazarian, let me tell you something Papi. You got something that belongs to me, baby boy, Don’t get too comfortable, because [you] best believe that TNA World title is coming back home to Papi!
But before I get to you, Frankie, I got a little something to say to these NXT boys. Listen to me loud and clear. Zoom in, Camera. I know you’re watching wherever the hell…yeah, I’m gonna let y’all know straight up, real talk. I’m gonna pick each and every one of you off, one by one by one, until there’s nothing left.
I’m going to make you regret the day you ever stepped foot in TNA. This ain’t brand new to me. I’ve been doing this.
I know. They know. You’re all gonna know.
I gave you fair warning.
Beware.”
Quiet intensity by Mike Santana, and Gods help anyone in NXT that crosses him.
The Director of Authority, Santino Marella, sees Frankie Kazarian come in and demands an apology. That brings in JDC, and he wants a shot at the title. Marella suggests that if he faces Eric Young and wins, he gets a shot at the title.
.@milanmiracle stepped away from the investigation into the #WWENXT attack to sign a HUGE main event! @DirtyDangoCurty vs. @TheEricYoung — and if JDC wins, he earns a shot at @FrankieKazarian’s TNA World Championship.

With that, your First Match of the Night is a Fatal Four-Way between…
Dani Luna vs. Indi Hartwell vs. Rosemary vs. Myla Grace
Big moves early on, and Hartwell is in the driver’s seat. After some ads (ugh), Rosemary has Hartwell in a reverse tarantula to hurt her further. The end comes when Rosemary gets a chain from under the ring to wrap around her fist, but Grace shoves her to the post, and she drops it in the ring. Luna uses it to knock out Hartwell, covering the pin and the win.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Dani Luna
Backstage, Eric Young directs things with his minions until Gia Miller asks him what he expects tonight in the main event. Young says he is gonna ruin JDC, and The Cleanse is coming

How that works out is another story. But let’s head to the ring for the next match between…

Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner (with Steph de Lander)
TNA uses the opportunity to feature a guy like Zack Ryder entering the Last Time is Now tournament in WWE, and I can’t understand why.
(Yeah, I know the deal. Allow me some fun and slow your post troll, ya nerds!)
Warner blindsides right away, but Cardona comes back and gets ready for a facewash, but De Lander pulls him out of harm’s way. Cardona hits with a dropkick to the outside and slams his head on the steel steps. Cardona stays Alwayz Ready despite interference from De Lander, while Warner demonstrates why he is a Southern Psycho. A spinebuster by Cardona, and they slug it out. This is hard-hitting action until Cardona nails Radio Silence on Warner for a two-count. De Lander interjects, and Cardona wants to take a swing, but the ref blocks his attempt. That allows Warner to use his wife’s loaded purse, and a double arm DDT ends it.
.@ManceWarner and @stephdelander just stole the victory with a LOADED purse!

Now let’s head back to the ring as your next match is…

Myron Reed vs. John Skyler
Skyler sends him to the corner and works him over. This is a speed versus power contest, even though Skyler wears down the Young GOAT. Reed fires back with a leg drop through the ropes. He misses the dropkick but nails Skyler with an enzugiri followed by a lungblower.
A springboard slam from the ropes gets Reed a one count, then he hits the ropes, but Skyler lands with a well-scouted spear and gets a near fall. He lifts ifts for a suplex, and Reed reverses for a Stundog Millionaire.
Meanwhile, outside of Full Sail, Special Agent Zero is taking out The Rascalz:

Now for the second part of the Fatal Four-Way between…

Xia Brookside vs. Victoria Crawford vs. Killer Kelly vs. Jody Threat
Not as charged as the first four-way, but still urgent between all four competitors. At one point, Tessa Blanchard is out and offers her opinion, especially as it relates to Crawford, but I doubt anyone gives a toss what she has to say. She then goes to help at ringside. Kelly gets Brookside with a unique submission from the top rope until Threat tears her off. She takes the fight to Crawford while Brookside sends down Threat and delivers a bridging pin that gets the pin and the win.
.@XiaBrookside sees an opportunity and takes it!

Now, Kaz comes out to witness the Main Event between…
Eric Young vs. JDC
Young starts hot but is leveled by a back elbow, and he rolls out of the ring to cleanse himself. He pulls Curtis out, but JDC is up to the task, yet Young pulls a top rope as he gets chased and stomps JDC. That leads to a discus lariat and then a crossbody to the young on the floor, which leads to…
Ads (ah, yes. My nemesis. Why don’t you know your role, and stay on WWE or AEW? Honestly!)
We come back, and Young knocks JDC off the top rope. He measures and works on the Dirty ‘Dango. After a slam, Young climbs the high-rent district and belly flops on the way down. JDC finds his second wind when he lands a falcon arrow for a two count. After a springboard heel kick, there is no luck for JDC. Back up top, Young knocks him down, and a big elbow gets him a count of two.
Now Young threatens the ref, and JDC almost hits the official. There’s a low blow the official misses (natch), but JDC still kicks out. He gets the upper hand, and sets Young up on the top turnbuckle. They battle, and Young gets knocked down to the center of the ring. JDC delivers the Down and Dirty avalanche legdrop for the one, two, and three.
Your Winner via Pinfall: JDC
Rehwoldt says he may be going down, but not without a fight, as Kaz states he gets one shot as the show comes to a close.
