A TNA star has been pulled from in-ring action following an injury suffered at Rebellion.
The setback occurred during the TNA International Championship match, where Trey Miguel lost the title to Mustafa Ali, ending a 57-day reign.
Midway through the bout, Trey Miguel attempted a Meteora onto the steel ring steps, but landed awkwardly and sustained a deep laceration to his knee. The impact left visible damage, with images shared after the match showing the severity of the injury, while Miguel was later seen using a crutch.
On the April 16 episode of TNA Impact, it was confirmed that Miguel has been removed from upcoming events as a result of the injury. There is currently no timetable for his return to action.
TNA’s Trey Miguel Will Still Appear At WrestleCon Despite Injury
Despite being sidelined, Trey Miguel is still expected to appear at WrestleCon in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week. Miguel had briefly appeared in AEW earlier this year as part of The Rascalz before returning to TNA, where his title reign has now come to an abrupt end due to the injury.
