Dani Luna has reportedly become a free agent after requesting and being granted her release from TNA Wrestling. Fightful Select has reported that just days after competing for the Knockouts Championship at Sacrifice against Lei Ying Lee and Arianna Grace. There is said to be no bad blood between the two sides, and Luna’s departure has already sparked speculation about her next move after Will Ospreay posted a cryptic message, hinting at possible interest from AEW.
Mercedes Mone has suffered another setback, losing the WPW Women’s Title to Jody Threat after a 164-day reign, continuing a sharp decline from her recent run of holding over a dozen championships. Now down to just a small number of titles, Mone has also remained absent from AEW since dropping the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale, though a recent social media tease has hinted at a potential return.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling has agreed to transfer all of its shares in Stardom to parent company Bushiroad, consolidating ownership under one entity. The move follows previous changes in control over Stardom in recent years, including its initial acquisition by Bushiroad in 2019 and NJPW’s full takeover in 2024.
Separately, Stardom also announced matches for its American Dream 2026 event during WrestleMania weekend, featuring talent such as Alex Windsor, Saya Iida and Athena.
The results for last night’s WWE NXT are in.
