TNA President Carlos Silva has given fans an update on the condition of Steve Maclin.
In their main event of last night’s Sacrifice show between Mike Santana and Steve Maclin, Maclin took a superkick and was unable to continue the match. He seemed stunned, woozy.
Referee Alice Lane threw up the dreaded “X” sign. Medical officials immediately went to Maclin’s aid.
Interviewed by The Takedown, Silva stated: “Maclin was not ultimately diagnosed with a concussion, as he cleared all of his tests and was released to go back to his hotel for the night.”
PWI reported that Maclin “seemed coherent backstage but was obviously upset about how things went”.
In a bid to send fans home happy, Eddie Edwards attacked Santana from behind but Santana turned things around putting Edwards through a table.
