TNA Impact delivered an unpredictable Thanksgiving-themed episode this week, complete with turkey suits, holiday grudges, and a chaotic eight-man main event to close the show.
The night opened with the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl, featuring Brian Myers, Ryan Nemeth, Mance Warner, Trey Miguel, Eric Young, and a local hometown entrant. With the turkey suit hanging over the match, Myers outlasted the field to claim victory, forcing Nemeth to don the infamous outfit after coming up short.
In a special bout from TNA’s recent tapings in Minneapolis, Mike Santana and Leon Slater teamed up against an unlikely pairing of Trick Williams and Mustafa Ali. The match showcased explosive athleticism on both sides before descending into chaos when The Great Hands stormed the ring. Although the bout ended in a disqualification win for Santana and Slater, the duo got the last word, driving a member of Ali’s Secret Service through a table.
The festive absurdity continued as Nemeth, still clad in his turkey suit, squared off with none other than Krampus in a battle to determine the superior holiday. Nemeth played spoiler, using a thumb to the eye and a handful of tights to steal the pinfall and secure bragging rights for Thanksgiving.
Director of Authority Santino Marella, unimpressed with Nemeth’s antics, booked a huge eight-man tag main event: Nemeth, Jake Something, and First Class facing Leon Slater, Moose, Brian Myers, and Eddie Edwards. The System and First Class clashed at ringside while the action broke down in the ring. Nemeth’s night ended the way it began, badly, as Slater sealed the win with a Swanton 450, earning his team the victory in the holiday melee.
TNA closed its Thanksgiving edition with momentum-building performances from Slater, Santana, and the newly victorious Brian Myers, setting the stage for December’s upcoming storylines.
