Greetings and salutations! TNA iMPACT! returned to AMC on Thursday night with another major step toward Bound For Glory, as Moose put his TNA career on the line against Frankie Kazarian in the main event. TNA iMPACT! also featured M by Elegance defending the Knockouts Television Championship against Kiera Hogan, Rich Swann competing for a spot in the Bound For Glory X-Division Championship match, and Leon Slater facing Ryan Nemeth. Without further ado, let’s get to with this weeks TNA iMPACT!

M by Elegance vs. Kiera Hogan – Knockouts Television Championship

TNA iMPACT! opened with M by Elegance defending the TNA Knockouts Television Championship against Kiera Hogan, who was accompanied by Allie. Kiera battled back after M took control early, connecting with a shotgun dropkick and a running kick in the corner. M eventually stopped Hogan’s momentum and countered a Face the Music attempt with a Codebreaker. Hogan answered with a missile dropkick, but M prevented her from building any further momentum. M pulled Hogan off the ropes and connected with her inverted piledriver to score the victory.

Winner and still TNA Knockouts Television Champion: M by Elegance

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Leon Slater. She asks him about his match against Ryan Nemeth later tonight. Slater says he is feeling pretty good. He criticizes Nic for sending his younger brother to attack him last week and says he is going to beat Ryan.

Mila Moore is on the phone with Mustafa Ali when John Skyler bumps into her. Skyler asks if she is doing okay after her brawl with Tasha Steelz last week. Moore says she does not know what Steelz’s problem is with her and then Skyler explains that Tasha is just overprotective of Hotch who tries to ask Moore out, but her phone rings, causing her to leave.

Rich Swann vs. LJ Cleary – X-Division Championship Qualifier

Rich Swann battled LJ Cleary in a qualifying match for the upcoming six-way match for the vacant X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory. The two put together a fast-paced contest, with Cleary hitting a springboard Canadian Destroyer and Swann answering with a series of high-impact maneuvers. Swann eventually connected with the Phoenix Splash to score the victory and secure his place in the Bound For Glory title match.

Winner: Rich Swann

Backstage, Ricky Sosa and Elijah hype up their tag team match against The System, which is scheduled for later tonight.

Elijah & Ricky Sosa vs. The System

Elijah teamed with Ricky Sosa to take on Eddie Edwards and Cedric Alexander of The System.  The System used some dirty dirty tactics throughout the match, with Alisha Edwards getting involved from ringside while Eddie and Cedric worked over Elijah. Sosa eventually received the hot tag and ran wild, taking out both members of The System. Sosa caught Alexander attempting the Lumbar Check and countered before hitting the Headshot to get the DUB!

Winners: Elijah & Ricky Sosa

After the match, Eddie Edwards attacked Sosa with a chair after the match and the group continued their assault. Edwards then challenged Sosa to a match at Bound For Glory, questioning whether Sosa truly belongs in the TNA locker room.

The Righteous tells BDE that they believe he chose comfort over growth. Vincent then challenges BDE and Rich Swann to a match, allowing them to “grow the garden” and choose any stipulation.

Leon Slater vs. Ryan Nemeth

Leon Slater faced Ryan Nemeth in singles action, with TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth accompanying his brother and joining the commentary team. Ryan gained control after Slater became distracted by Nic, but Slater eventually fought his way back into the match. Slater hit a series of kicks before connecting with the Swanton 450 to defeat Ryan Nemeth.

Winner: Leon Slater

After the match, Nic Nemeth attacked Slater from behind. The TNA World Champion assaulted Slater before using the title belt as a weapon.

Backstage, John Skyler tries to ask Mila Moore out on a date again, but before he can, he hears Moore on the phone saying that Hotch asking her out must be a joke…and with that Skylar just walks away sad.

Moose is up next as he reflects on his TNA career and admits that he may have made a mistake by putting his career on the line against Kazarian. Moose says Kaz has never seen him at his best and insists that he will always be the “Face of the Franchise.”

Zoey Serrano vs. Harley Hudson

Zoey Serrano went up with Harley Hudson. Serrano is a huge threat as she dominated the match. Hudson managed to mount a comeback and nearly caught Serrano with a Code Red, but Serrano regained control.  Serrano hit her Hell and Back finisher to put Hudson away.

Winner: Zoey Serrano

After the match, TNA authority figure Daria Rae appeared and encouraged Serrano to continue attacking Hudson.  Indi Hartwell then came to Hudson’s aid, confronting Rae and Serrano. Rae warned Hartwell that she and Hudson were on borrowed time.

Moose vs. Frankie Kazarian – Moose’s TNA Career on the Line

The main event featured massive stakes as Moose faced Frankie Kazarian with Moose’s TNA career on the line.  If Moose lost, he would be forced to leave TNA. The two battled back and forth, with Kazarian eventually putting Moose through a table at ringside. Moose struggled to get back into the ring before barely beating the referee’s count.  Kazarian appeared to have the match won after hitting Fade to Black, but Moose kicked out. Kazarian then locked Moose in a submission hold. Moose managed to roll over and force Kazarian to break the hold when his shoulders were briefly down. Moose answered with a huge spear for a near fall.  Kazarian attempted another springboard attack, but Moose caught him in mid-air with a spear, then Moose hits another HUGE Spear for the win to save his TNA career.

Winner: Moose

After the match, Moose grabbed Kazarian’s crown and returned to the ring. He placed it on the mat before destroying it with a chair as the crowd chanted his name.

The show closed with another mystery surrounding the recent attacks in TNA. Matt Hardy was found laid out backstage, while two unidentified individuals were seen walking away from the scene. Their identities were not revealed, and we have ourselves a classic WHODUNNIT as we head toward Bound For Glory.
