Greetings and salutations! TNA Wrestling delivered another eventful edition of TNA iMPACT! on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The fallout from Lockdown 2026 continued throughout the night, with questions surrounding the attacks on Jeff Hardy and Ryan Nemeth, while the road to Bound for Glory continued to take shape. We have a jam packed show of TNA iMPACT so without further ado, let’s get to it.
Matt Hardy Confronts The Nemeths
Matt Hardy opened the show looking for answers following the mysterious backstage attack that left his brother, Jeff Hardy, hospitalized. Matt explained that The Hardys were preparing to exercise their rematch clause for the TNA World Tag Team Championship before Jeff was taken out. Hardy accused current champions Nic and Ryan Nemeth of being responsible.
The Nemeth brothers came to the ring and denied having anything to do with the attack. Matt wasn’t convinced. He attacked Nic and Ryan, leading to a wild brawl between all three men before security arrived to separate them. The mystery surrounding the attacks took another turn later in the evening when Ryan Nemeth was himself attacked backstage by an unknown assailant.
AJ Francis vs. Brent Oakley
Oakley came out hot and aggressively and briefly gained the advantage, even taking Expressions’ hat during the action. However, the distraction ultimately worked against him. As Oakley tried to get back into the ring, Francis struck with the TFL to get the W

Following the match, Francis declared himself the greatest “AJ” in TNA and challenged newcomer Avery Styles to his first match. Santino Marella appeared and offered to make the match for next week, with Styles accepting. However, Frankie Kazarian interrupted and refused to allow Styles to compete against Francis.
Harley Hudson & Indi Hartwell vs. Xia Brookside & Zoey Serrano
Zoey Serrano competed in her first TNA match after her shocking debut last week. Serrano teamed with TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside against Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson. Serrano was aggressive and showed some attitude and even struck a fan at ringside after an altercation. Inside the ring, Serrano and Brookside appeared to have the match under control for stretches, but communication between the two eventually broke down. Serrano accidentally hit her own partner with a lariat, allowing Hartwell to capitalize. After a chaotic exchange involving all four competitors, Hartwell locked Brookside in the Butterfly Neck-Lock, forcing the Knockouts World Champion to submit.
Winners: Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson
After the match, Hartwell confronted Daria Rae backstage and demanded a shot at Xia Brookside’s Knockouts World Championship. Despite Hartwell submitting the champion earlier in the evening, Rae refused to give her the opportunity. Instead, Rae announced that Gabby Forza would receive the next championship opportunity. That match is scheduled for next week’s TNA iMPACT.
X-Division Championship Qualifier: KC Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo
Joe Alonzo made his TNA iMPACT debut against KC Navarro in a qualifying match for the X-Division Championship match at Bound for Glory. Alonzo made an impressive first impression, overpowering Navarro at various points and targeting his opponent with several hard-hitting attacks. Navarro eventually fought his way back into the contest. After Alonzo attempted to use the referee as a shield, Navarro countered and eventually hit Blessing in Disguise to score the three-count.
Winner: KC Navarro
Navarro advances to the X-Division Championship match at Bound for Glory. Fabian Aichner later congratulated Navarro and announced his intention to qualify for the match himself next week.
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Open Challenge: Allie & Kiera Hogan (c) vs. Shazza McKenzie & Vipress
The Knockouts World Tag Team Champions put their titles on the line in an open challenge. Shazza McKenzie and Vipress accepted the challenge and gave the champions a competitive fight. The challengers used several underhanded tactics to gain an advantage, but Allie and Kiera eventually regained control. Allie hit Vipress with the Codebreaker before Kiera followed with Face the Music. Allie then covered Vipress for the victory.
Winners: Allie & Kiera Hogan
Ricky Sosa reflected on his recent battles with The Nemeths when The System interrupted him. The confrontation escalated until Elijah came out to back Sosa up. Elijah made it clear that he still has unfinished business with The System, setting up another potential confrontation between the two sides.
Dutch vs. BDE
BDE faced Dutch, with Rich Swann accompanying BDE and Vincent accompanying Dutch. Vincent attempted to give BDE an easy path to victory by ordering Dutch to lie down and allow BDE to pin him. BDE refused to take the shortcut and instead attacked Dutch. BDE fought back and looked for the Clip Cutter, but Dutch caught him and delivered Death Walks for the win.
Winner: Dutch
After the match, Rich Swann entered the ring to check on BDE, only for Vincent to attack him from behind. Dutch then picked up BDE and carried him away as The Righteous left.
Although TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali remains sidelined with a punctured lung, his presence continues to be felt. Mila Moore received a phone call from Ali backstage, while John Skyler attempted to speak with her. Moore received another call from Ali before walking away. Ali’s absence hasn’t stopped Order 4 from carrying out his instructions.
TNA International Championship #1 Contender Match: Jason Hotch vs. Trey Miguel
The main event featured two wrestlers who showed mutual respect before the opening bell, shaking hands before competing for a future shot at Mustafa Ali’s International Championship. Hotch and Miguel traded submissions, strikes and high-impact maneuvers throughout an extremely competitive contest. Miguel repeatedly targeted Hotch’s arm, while Hotch answered with several powerful counters and strikes. Both men came incredibly close to victory as the match continued to escalate. Just when we got close to the end, Special Agent 0 attacked both competitors.
The referee immediately called for the disqualification.
Winner: Disqualification
Special Agent 0 continued attacking both men after the bell, preventing either Hotch or Miguel from earning the championship opportunity.
Matt Hardy Gets a World Championship Opportunity
The show concluded with tensions between Matt Hardy and Nic Nemeth reaching another level. Nemeth believed Matt was responsible for the attack on Ryan earlier in the night. Santino Marella intervened before things could get even more physical. Marella then made a huge announcement that Matt Hardy will challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship in a No Disqualification Match next week on TNA iMPACT!
