TNA iMPACT (July 23, 2026): World Title Match & Righteous Deletion

TNA iMPACT returns tonight from the Broadview Center in Albany, New York, with championship gold on the line, the latest matches in the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament, and the always entertaining, and highly anticipated Righteous Deletion match taking place at the Hardy Compound. Here is the full card for the show:

  • The Hardys vs. The Righteous – Righteous Deletion
  • Nic Nemeth (c) vs. KC Navarro – TNA World Championship
  • Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo – Knockouts TV Title Tournament
  • Jada Stone vs. Alisha Edwards – Knockouts TV Title Tournament
  • AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian vs. Moose & Elijah
  • The System takes center stage

So without further ado, let’s get to the action on this week’s TNA iMPACT.

AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian vs. Moose & Elijah

Things got started right away on TNA iMPACT as AJ Francis and Frankie Kazarian picked up the opening victory after outside help changed things up in the match. Elijah was ready to end things after climbing to the top rope, but Expressions distracted him long enough for Francis to capitalize. Francis caught Elijah on the way down and planted him with a fireman’s carry neckbreaker to get the “dub”.

Winners: AJ Francis & Frankie Kazarian

After the match, Expressions attempted another attack with his guitar, but Moose stopped him from behind. Elijah then delivered a Tombstone Piledriver to Expressions. All Francis could do is look mad at ringside.

Wendy Choo vs. Elayna Black: Knockouts Television Championship Tournament – First Round

Next up on TNA iMPACT we had a Knockouts TV Championship match. Wendy Choo and Elayna Black had an evenly matched 50/50 match that saw momentum swing back and forth. Black gained the advantage by sending Choo into the ring apron, but Choo rallied with a series of clotheslines, a handspring clothesline, and a neckbreaker for a near fall. Black came right back with a belly-to-belly suplex before the two exchanged forearms. Choo connected with a superplex, but the match ended as the time limit expired.

Result: Time-limit draw

After the match, Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside attacked both women from behind before holding up the title. It was then announced that neither Choo nor Black would advance in the tournament, giving M By Elegance an automatic bye into the semifinals…SURE.

The System Sends a Message

The System were in the ring with a warning for the entire TNA locker room. Eddie Edwards declared the group remains the standard in TNA, calling themselves the company’s “gatekeepers” and even said that anyone looking to make a name for themselves must first go through The System.

Bear Bronson bragged about destroying Ricky Sosa last week, while Cedric Alexander kept with the gatekeeper them as he said The System decides who rises and falls in TNA. Edwards then shifted his focus to the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament, predicting Alisha Edwards would defeat Jada Stone later in the night and bring more gold to the faction.

Ricky Sosa was out and admitted Bear Bronson got the better of him last week, but said setbacks are part of the business. Sosa vowed that “The Young Savage” won’t stay down for long and brought up Brian Myers’ interference saying that it played a major role in his loss. Eddie Edwards reminded Sosa that he turned down an opportunity to join The System, saying he rejected the group’s protection and now has no one in his corner.

Leon Slater came to help Ricky Sosa and said that The System of making a habit of targeting anyone who gets in their way. Slater said the faction has been after him for the past two years and promised Sosa he wouldn’t have to fight them alone.

Slater then challenged Eddie Edwards and Bear Bronson to an impromptu tag team match, but Edwards said no, but he did say he’d speak with Daria Rae about making it official for next week’s iMPACT in Philadelphia. Slater then called on Santino Marella to make the match happen anyways!

Backstage, Daria Rae announced that Jason Hotch won the locker room vote to become the new No. 1 contender for Mustafa Ali’s International Championship. While The Great Hands and Tasha Steelz celebrated, Ali was left stunned and said that there is not way this could be true.

Ali then blamed Nic Nemeth for the results and ordered Hotch to find Daria Rae and have the vote overturned. After Hotch left, Ali said they need to find a “real” No. 1 contender.

The Hardys vs. The Righteous – Righteous Deletion

The Righteous arrived at the Hardy Compound looking to end The Hardys once and for all, but found themselves pulled into the bizarre world of the Broken Universe. After Vincent transformed night into day, Matt Hardy sensed their arrival and, alongside Brother Nero, began hunting them across the property before the fight erupted.

The action spilled throughout the compound as Matt and Jeff brawled with Vincent and Dutch in barns, around the lake, and eventually inside a ring where the match officially got underway. Matt hit multiple Twist of Fates and The Hardys combined for a double suplex, while The Righteous tried to come back with a some brutal strikes and used the environment to their advantage as best as they could.

As only a Deletion match can, the chaos became increasingly surreal and felt like we were in the brain of David Lynch. Reby Hardy and the Hardy family became involved, Dr. Wolfie appeared, Willow made an appearance, and both teams battled with fireworks before Vincent and Dutch tossed Matt and Jeff into the Lake of Reincarnation, but all this did was have refreshed versions of the Hardy’s join in on the fun.

Dutch was laid across two tables and Jeff Hardy climbed on the top of a bulldozer before hitting a Swanton Bomb through the tables for the win.

Winners and STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions: The Hardys

After the match, “Broken” Matt declared The Righteous had been “deleted” before he and Brother Nero threw Vincent and Dutch into the Lake of Reincarnation.

Backstage, Jason Hotch headed to Daria Rae’s office before Leon Slater stopped him. Slater told Hotch not to listen to Mustafa Ali, and said that the locker room vote was legitimate and even admitted he was one of the wrestlers who voted for Hotch. Slater told Hotch he needs to believe in himself more and that Ali is using him.

Jada Stone vs. Alisha Edwards – Knockouts TV Title Tournament

Jada Stone wasted no time taking the fight to Alisha Edwards, dropping her with a clothesline and nearly getting the fast win. Alisha went to regroup outside the ring, but Stone continued her attack, taking her down with a springboard kick before diving over the ropes with a crossbody that also took out Eddie Edwards.

Eddie’s interference shifted things up and allowed Alisha to blindside Stone and send her into the corner. Stone fought back with a pair of clotheslines, but Eddie tried to stop her. Even with all of the interference, Stone was able to get a roll-up for the win.

Winner: Jada Stone

After the match, a frustrated Alisha attacked Stone until Stone fought back. Eddie Edwards eventually pulled Alisha out of the ring.

Mustafa Ali confronted Jason Hotch backstage, asking if he had completed the task. Hotch admitted he didn’t and said that he had an interesting convo with Leon Slater, and that he changed his perspective and convinced him the locker room vote was legitimate.

Ali scoffed and questioned why Hotch ignored his orders, but Hotch said that he’s had a long journey to get to this point and his motivation goes beyond himself, as he wants to provide for his wife, daughter, and family after everything they have been through together. Hotch thanked Ali for everything and said that he would see him next week. Ali looked stunned.

Nic Nemeth (c) vs. KC Navarro – TNA World Championship

Nic Nemeth and KC Navarro wasted no time making this personal, with Nic slapping Navarro at the opening bell before Navarro responded with a superkick. Navarro nearly scored an early upset, but Nemeth kicked out and took control by targeting his opponent in the corner.

Navarro battled back with a head scissors, uppercut, and a dive to the outside before connecting with a top-rope splash for a near fall. However, Nemeth switched things up as he attacked Navarro’s previously injured left knee, causing him to slow down tons. Nemeth locked in a sleeper hold.

This didn’t stop Navarro, as he ate a Superkick before hitting a dropkick, 619, and Code Red for another close 2.9 count. Navarro kept going for broke, but Nemeth cut him off and planted him with the Danger Zone for the win.
